Diggia Fastest in MotoGP Silverstone Practice, Marquez P4

Fabio di Giannantonio struck back for Ducati by leading the final free practice session for the 2026 British MotoGP at Silverstone. The Italian was the only rider to dip into the 1m 57s this morning, finishing 0.117s ahead of Trackhouse Aprilia's Raul Fernandez.

Marco Bezzecchi, who topped Friday's times, led much of the session before settling for third on the factory RS-GP. Behind him, Marc Marquez of Ducati Lenovo had to settle for fourth, just 0.258s off the pace.

The two Aprilias of Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura, currently first and second in the world championship, completed the top six. Meanwhile, Pramac Yamaha's Jack Miller suffered an early crash at Turn 16, though he had already secured direct Q2 access with ninth on Friday.

This practice session was crucial for riders outside the top ten to secure a Q2 spot. Francesco Bagnaia spent much of the session at the back of the timesheets before rising to twelfth, meaning he will have to go through Q1.

The results set up an intriguing qualifying session. With Bezzecchi looking strong and the Aprilias consistent, the battle for the front row is set to be intense. Q1 is about to get underway.
