Having established a stellar reputation across D1NZ, Formula Drift USA, and capturing a title in Formula Drift Japan, Whiddett is ready to showcase his exceptional car control against some of the biggest names in global motorsport in front of a passionate home crowd in Wellington.
The Red Bull athlete, who initially started his racing journey in motocross, is eager to test his capabilities on a level playing field utilizing identical machinery alongside competitors from various racing backgrounds. "I've spent my whole career sending cars sideways, so I can't wait to see how I stack up when everyone's on a level playing field," Whiddett stated, highlighting the thrill of representing his home country on such a massive international stage.
Fellow Kiwi and rally star Hayden Paddon warmly welcomed his compatriot into the entry list, emphasizing that Whiddett's extensive experience driving diverse vehicles around the world will make him a formidable contender.
