Nicolo Bulega made an early statement in Sunday's WorldSBK Warm Up at Magny-Cours, clocking the fastest time of 1'35.506s. The Aruba.it Racing - Ducati rider sent a clear warning to his rivals ahead of the final two races of the Acerbis French Round.
Bulega now has a golden opportunity to secure his first-ever hat-trick at this circuit, having shown impressive pace all weekend.
Ducati Dominates, Lecuona and Lowes Close Behind
His teammate Iker Lecuona was second, just 0.154s adrift, while Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) locked in third. The tight gaps suggest a fierce battle is on the cards for the afternoon races.

Lecuona is chasing his second upset victory of the season after his Donington Park triumph, while Lowes aims to build on his Race 1 podium finish. Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) took fourth despite a late crash, with Alex Lowes leading the non-Ducati charge in fifth.
With four different manufacturers represented in the top ten, the WorldSBK grid looks set for a thrilling conclusion. All eyes now turn to the two decisive races that could shape the championship.
