Alex Rins has revealed the unusual experience of being given a ride by Jack Miller in the pit lane, with the Australian taking the situation far enough to put his knee down through two corners.
Rins described the moment as both funny and slightly frightening, particularly after watching the footage back and seeing just how aggressively Miller was riding while carrying him.
“Yeah, for sure. It was super funny. At least we get some minutes of TV. I mean, he's crazy. He's crazy doing that,” Rins said.

The most striking part of the ride came when Miller appeared to get his knee down in the pit lane. Asked whether he could confirm that Miller had actually touched his knee down, Rins gave a clear answer.
“Oh, absolutely. Yeah,” Rins confirmed.
Watching the video again revealed another unusual detail. Rins noticed that Miller did not even have a footpeg available to place his foot on, leaving him unsure what was actually dragging as the bike went through the corners.
“Watching the video back, I seen obviously he didn't have a foot peg to even put his foot on, so I guess I don't know what was dragging from him,” Rins explained.
Rins then confirmed that Miller was riding with his knee down through both corners in the pit lane. While the moment was entertaining, being the passenger gave Rins a very different perspective.
“I was a little bit scared. I was enjoying that moment, you know, but I was just thinking how dangerous was that,” he said.
For Miller, the situation appeared to be completely under control. For Rins, however, being on the back of the bike made the experience considerably more intimidating.
The unusual pit-lane ride ultimately became one of those memorable MotoGP moments that looked entertaining on camera, while feeling considerably more tense from the passenger seat.
