The spectacular campaign culminated in a stellar runner-up finish in the world standings, featuring six race victories and nine podium appearances that completely stunned the racing community. This remarkable on-track success triggered an unprecedented surge in consumer demand, which rapidly outpaced the manufacturer's existing production capacities.
