WRC, Sportrik Media - Elfyn Evans leads the FIA World Rally Championship standings after Rally Sweden with 60 points, extending his advantage following two completed rounds of the 2026 season. A runner-up finish in Monte Carlo followed by victory in Sweden has established early momentum in the title race.
Second place in the championship is held by his team-mate at Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team, Oliver Solberg, who has accumulated 47 points. He is followed by Takamoto Katsuta with 30 points in third position. Toyota therefore occupies the top three places in the drivers’ standings after the Swedish round.
Fourth overall is Adrien Fourmaux of Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team with 28 points, while team-mate Thierry Neuville sits fifth on 21 points. Hyundai remains within reach in the early championship phase, although the gap to Toyota’s leading trio is already notable.

Eight-time world champion Sébastien Ogier occupies sixth place with 18 points despite skipping the Swedish round. Behind him, Sami Pajari has 17 points after his podium finish in Sweden, while Esapekka Lappi stands eighth with 9 points for Hyundai.
The midfield battle includes drivers from independent and manufacturer-backed teams. Leo Rossel (8 points) and Yohan Rossel represent PH Sport, while Jon Armstrong and Joshua McErlean of M-Sport Ford World Rally Team have collected 4 and 2 points respectively. Several competitors, including Hayden Paddon, Grégoire Munster, and Lorenzo Bertelli, are yet to score after two rounds.
With two events completed, Toyota has placed six drivers inside the top 16 of the standings, underlining squad depth and competitive consistency. Hyundai continues to rely on Fourmaux and Neuville to maintain pressure in both drivers’ and manufacturers’ campaigns.
The championship now heads to Safari Rally Kenya in March, where rough gravel conditions and mechanical durability will likely reshape the competitive order in both title fights.
