The Formula 1 paddock is buzzing with controversy after former driver Ralf Schumacher launched a stinging critique of Lewis Hamilton. The fallout from the Mexico City Grand Prix has exposed internal tensions at Ferrari, where Hamilton publicly demanded "serious talks" following an opening-lap clash with teammate Charles Leclerc that he claims cost the team a potential victory.

Hamilton, the 41-year-old seven-time world champion, vented his frustration over the team radio during a red-flag period, stating: "We’ve got problems. Big, big problems." However, Schumacher believes the Briton’s actions were entirely inappropriate for a driver.

Speaking on the Backstage Boxengasse podcast, Schumacher did not hold back, comparing Hamilton’s demeanor to that of a notorious mobster. "To speak like Al Capone and threaten that 'we have big, big problems' in my view, that's just the dog walking its master. He’s putting himself above the Ferrari brand. He’s acting more like a team boss than a driver," Schumacher remarked.

Schumacher further emphasized that the rivalry between Hamilton and Leclerc has spiraled out of control. He called for team principal Fred Vasseur to intervene immediately. "I'd put both drivers in a sack, give them a piece of my mind, and explain to them how things are supposed to work at Ferrari. This can't go on," he continued.

This friction highlights the immense challenge Ferrari faces in managing two highly stubborn drivers. For fans, this drama serves as a stark reminder that behind the glamour of the premier racing series, individual egos can often become the greatest obstacle to a team's collective success.
