OMODA is set to expand its lineup with the all-new X, a sporty crossover with off-road capabilities. The world premiere is scheduled for October 20 during the OMODA X NIGHT event, part of the International User Summit in Wuhu, China, running from October 18 to 24.
While technical details remain under wraps, OMODA claims the X combines the dynamic proportions of a sports car with the ruggedness of an off-roader. The design features sharp geometric lines, giving it a more aggressive silhouette than its siblings. The futuristic "Mecha" styling that defines the OMODA family is accentuated, with a raised stance and volumes that hint at its off-road prowess.
In Italy, the X will join a growing range that already includes the OMODA 5 (available with petrol, full hybrid SHS-H, and electric powertrains), and the Super Hybrid (SHS-P) SUVs OMODA 7 and OMODA 9. Not to forget the new OMODA 4, a compact B-segment crossover that recently made its national debut at the Salone Auto Torino.
With this move, OMODA is clearly intensifying its challenge in the crossover segment.
