Max Verstappen will return to his karting roots on September 16 for a unique exhibition event, attempting to overtake 100 competitors in a single race at Silverstone.
Dubbed 'Max vs 100', the spectacle will feature 101 go-karts on a track custom-designed by former youth karting World Champion David Terrien. Verstappen will start at the back of the grid, aiming to cut through traffic consisting of sports stars, content creators, and fans.
The driver lineup includes Red Bull athletes like ultrarunner Arda Saatci and mountain biker Matt Jones, alongside popular streamers Caedrel, TheGrefg, and TheDonato.

Test driver Sebastian Job evaluated the concept during shakedown trials. He noted the scale of the challenge ahead for the Red Bull driver. "I think to overtake 100 cars is going to be extremely difficult," Job said. "Today we did it with 50, and even that was a challenge to do it in the allotted time. He's got his work cut out for him big time."
Verstappen downplayed the pressure while looking forward to the wheel-to-wheel action. "In go-karts you learn all the basics: starts, defending, overtaking," Verstappen explained. "Of course, I spent a long period of my life go-karting, so it's always nice to return. It's about understanding the grip of the go-kart. I've done so many years in go-karting that you quite naturally get back into things."
Asked what he was looking forward to most during the multi-kart battle, Verstappen added: "Just seeing the carnage unfold in front of me."
The event will be broadcast live globally on Disney+ on September 16. Live streaming will be available on the ESPN App in the United States ahead of a delayed television broadcast on ESPN2.
