Max Verstappen will take on 100 karters in the "Max vs 100" event at Silverstone on Wednesday, 16 September. The challenge is far from ordinary: Verstappen must start from the back and overtake 100 opponents over 30 laps. The challengers will work together to keep the four-time Formula 1 champion behind them.

A purpose-built circuit at Silverstone will host the event. Verstappen's goal is to pass all opponents, while the 100 karters aim to hold him off. The event will be streamed live on Disney+.

Verstappen's Reaction
Verstappen spoke about the event during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend. "I'll just rock up and have a good time, to be honest. Let's see how it goes. But yeah, it's a lot of people," he said. "Starting from the back, it's going to be challenging, but I hope I can catch them all. We don't know yet. I don't even know the format at the moment. So I will just rock up and do my thing."
