Saturday morning practice at the Lusail International Circuit delivered intense drama and strategic battles as riders prepared for the crucial battles of the weekend. Marco Bezzecchi steered Aprilia back to the summit of the timesheets following a brilliantly executed tyre strategy in the closing stages of the session.
Tyre selection strategy took center stage in the pit lane as different manufacturers tested contrasting approaches. Leading contenders from Ducati, KTM, and Honda opted to launch their programs on the soft rear compound, whereas the Aprilia contingent initially headed out on the medium tyres to gather crucial data.
Championship leader Marc Marquez controlled proceedings at the top for a major portion of the session utilizing the soft rubber, before eventually switching over to evaluate the medium compound for race distance simulations.

Sensing an opportunity as track conditions evolved, Bezzecchi—who had temporarily slipped down to sixth on the medium tyre—strapped in a fresh soft rear and unleashed a blistering lap to reclaim the ultimate benchmark under the Lusail floodlights.
The impressive display from the Noale factory intensified as Trackhouse Racing standouts Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura surged into second and third places respectively. Jorge Martin then cemented a stunning 1-2-3-4 sweep for the RS-GP machines inside the top four.
Attention now shifts toward the high-stakes Qualifying 1 session, featuring notable names who missed out on direct Q2 progression on Friday. Grand Prix winner Pedro Acosta and factory Ducati star Francesco Bagnaia must navigate the opening knockout phase to salvage their starting positions for the sprint and main races.
