Internal tensions within the Ferrari garage show no signs of cooling down as the Formula 1 paddock arrives in Brazil for the latest Grand Prix weekend. Following a controversial wheel-to-wheel clash at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, Lewis Hamilton has firmly defended himself against mounting criticism and political narratives circulating in the Italian media.
The feud ignited after Charles Leclerc's uncompromising defensive driving in Mexico arguably cost the Maranello squad a dominant 1-2 finish, allowing Max Verstappen to snatch victory instead. Hamilton openly voiced his frustration, reiterating his belief that his teammate leaves significantly more room when fighting other rivals on the grid compared to their direct head-to-head battles.
Amid swirling paddock rumors suggesting that Hamilton's public complaints are a calculated political move to sway the team hierarchy in his favor, the British superstar reacted with intense defiance.

"What I simply do not condone is when people accuse me of calculating everything," Hamilton stated firmly in the media pen. "Sorry, but we are out there racing with a heart rate of 170 at 300 kilometers per hour, and you simply do not have the time to premeditate what you are going to say to the media afterward."
The seven-time world champion emphasized that raw emotions are inevitable in the heat of elite motorsport competition and declared that he refuses to alter his personality to please outside observers. "Naturally, frustration runs high after an on-track incident, and of course you might say things you later regret, but I will never apologize for being real, and I will not let anyone muzzle me," he added.
While team management is expected to hold crisis talks behind closed doors to align their drivers for the remainder of the season, industry experts predict that this underlying rivalry will inevitably flare up again once championship stakes are on the line.
