Isack Hadjar has successfully avoided a heavy penalty and received only a formal warning from the FIA following an incident involving a guest in the Formula 1 paddock. The altercation took place just ahead of the opening practice session at the Mexican Grand Prix, while the paddock area was heavily crowded with personnel and visitors.
Footage circulated widely across social media platforms showing the Red Bull driver pushing an individual who had abruptly attempted to take a selfie with him. Consequently, the young driver was summoned to appear before the race stewards on Saturday morning to address allegations of misconduct within the restricted confines of the motorsport venue.
During his hearing in front of the stewards, the driver explained that he was running late to reach the team garage for the first practice session. After briefly stopping to pose for a photograph with a young fan, he was approached by a paddock guest in an aggressive manner that invaded his personal space without consent.

The official stewards' document noted that a security personnel member walking behind the driver was unable to intervene promptly and prevent the breach of personal boundaries. After initially attempting to resist the movement, the driver pushed the individual aside with his open right hand, which technically breached the international sporting code regarding professional conduct.
However, the panel ultimately decided to issue only a warning after weighing five mitigating circumstances in the driver's favor. These factors included reacting to an uninvited aggressive action, navigating a congested area without sufficient security presence, and addressing the ongoing broader security challenges drivers face while moving through busy paddock zones.
