Hadjar Out of Spanish GP, Tsunoda Back with Racing Bulls

Red Bull has confirmed that Isack Hadjar needs more time to recover from his wrist injury, ruling him out of a third consecutive Formula 1 Grand Prix this weekend in Madrid.

The team announced on Monday evening that while Hadjar's recovery is progressing positively, he is not yet ready to return to the cockpit. He will nonetheless travel to Madrid to support the squad from the garage.

As a result, Liam Lawson will step back into the RB22 alongside Max Verstappen, while Yuki Tsunoda remains with Racing Bulls for the race at the new Madrid circuit.

Impact on Red Bull and Racing Bulls

The situation forces Red Bull to rethink its strategy for both teams. Lawson, who previously had a stint with the senior squad, now has a golden opportunity to impress on a brand-new track that demands quick adaptation. Meanwhile, Racing Bulls will rely on Tsunoda to lead their points charge.

There is still no timeline for Hadjar's return, but the team will continue to monitor his progress race by race. Fans will be hoping the young Frenchman recovers soon and gets back to showcasing his talent on the world's biggest racing stage.
