Formula 1 is taking its season launch to the next level. After the massive success of F1 75 Live in London, Milan will host F1 Live Milan from February 18-20, 2027. This isn't just a one-night ceremony; it's a three-day festival designed to bring fans closer to the sport than ever before.

Unlike its London predecessor, which was a single-evening event, Milan will feature two core components: a Milan Fan Festival running across all three days, and a standalone evening spectacle called F1 The Show on February 18. All drivers and team principals from the 11 Formula 1 teams are expected to appear, alongside live music performances.

The decision follows the success of F1 75 Live, which attracted 7.5 million viewers for its live broadcast and was streamed across 37 territories. That event demonstrated the fans' appetite for off-track engagement, prompting F1 to expand the concept. Milan was chosen due to its proximity to Monza, home of the Italian Grand Prix, and its status as a European cultural hub.

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali emphasized that this initiative is part of F1's broader mission to connect with fans. "We are always thinking big and pushing boundaries. F1 Live Milan is going to be an incredible experience created with our fans at its heart," he said. "We want them to feel that they are not simply watching the sport, but they are truly immersed in it."

Domenicali also stressed that racing remains the soul of F1, but events like this are essential to celebrate the sport's spirit. "Building on the extraordinary success of F1 75 in London, F1 Live Milan will transform the city into a Formula 1 festival for three unforgettable days," he added. Tickets go on sale later in 2026, with pre-registration opening soon.

Further details, including the venue and entertainment line-up, will be announced in the coming months. One thing is clear: F1 Live Milan is not just a launch event; it's a statement that Formula 1 aims to be more than a sport—it's an experience that unites millions worldwide.
