Former Red Bull motorsport consultant Helmut Marko has once again captured public attention following the official conclusion of his long tenure in Formula 1 at the end of the 2025 season. The Austrian manager previously revealed that he had dismantled the extra television screens in his home, which he used to meticulously analyze telemetry data during race weekends. Nowadays, the veteran motorsport figure is content with watching races through standard television broadcasts, yet he has just chosen to make a surprisingly distinct financial investment in an unconventional startup.
According to reports from Speedcafe, Helmut Marko has decided to financially back a startup called Lebensstimmen, internationally recognized under the title 'Words That Remains'. This innovative startup is currently developing cutting-edge technology that allows individuals to prepare personal farewell messages to be transmitted automatically after their passing.
This one-of-a-kind project was formally introduced during a press conference held last week in Vienna, Austria. Helmut Marko attended the event alongside the company founders and Austrian cathedral parish priest Toni Faber. Described as an artificial intelligence-based avatar platform, the service enables users to draft messages while they are still alive, select who will receive them, and determine the exact circumstances under which they will be broadcasted to the intended recipients.

The service even provides the distinct capability for someone to address attendees at their own funeral service, despite having already passed away. Explaining his rationale behind supporting this unique venture, Helmut Marko highlighted the forward-thinking nature of the project and its alignment with his philosophy on technological evolution and progress.
“This project utilizes state-of-the-art technology, primarily artificial intelligence,” stated Helmut Marko. “It therefore offers a truly unique opportunity to express final wishes, as well as the possibility for the deceased to personally address those present at their funeral. The project is supported by a highly qualified team prepared both technically and legally. The market I am targeting is global. Motor racing has never been left to chance; it has evolved thanks to the courage of constantly using new technologies for the benefit of people. This is precisely the approach I recognize in Lebensstimmen.”
