The ultimate breeding ground for future motorcycle racing stars is officially opening its doors once again. No fewer than 127 promising youngsters representing 45 different countries have earned coveted invitations for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup selection event ahead of the 2027 season, hosted at the technical Circuito de Guadix in southern Spain.
Among the hopefuls eager to impress the expert panel, the Dutch contingent stands out with a strong line-up featuring Quinn de Joode, Luuk de Vries, Milan Hunneman, and Mick Koomen. Meanwhile, Belgium places its hopes on young charger Tom Rolin as he attempts to secure a spot in one of the most competitive junior series in the paddock.
The path to Guadix highlights a meteoric rise for De Joode, who only transitioned to full-size circuit racing this summer. The 15-year-old Dutchman claimed the Yamaha R125 Cup crown before instantly securing a podium finish during a wildcard appearance in the Moto4 Northern Cup at Assen. Fellow countryman De Vries brings valuable international mileage, having triumphed in the Spanish Promo3 class last year.

Action across the three-day evaluation splits the massive entry list across Monday and Tuesday before a rigorous cut narrows the field for the ultimate Wednesday showdown. Only the absolute standout performers will earn a formal invitation to join the 21st consecutive season of the elite MotoGP feeder category.
