The Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, widely known as WorldWCR, is gearing up for a major transition starting from the 2027 season. The prestigious racing series managed by promoter Dorna is officially set to move away from Yamaha machinery and adopt standardized motorcycles produced by Chinese manufacturer CF Moto.
Since its inception in 2024 at the request of the International Motorcycling Federation, the championship has consistently served as a vital stage for talented female riders. Renowned competitors such as inaugural world champion Ana Carrasco and dominant force Maria Herrera have continuously proven that the series possesses high standards and genuine competitive appeal within the global paddock.
Although the depth of talent and overall competitiveness have grown significantly each year, the championship continues to utilize a single-supplier format to keep operational budgets as low as possible. The strategic decision to partner with a new manufacturer ensures that the series will require considerably less financial subsidization moving forward.

The arrival of the new Asian brand also brings distinct advantages for the championship promoters. This new addition successfully expands the total number of participating manufacturers represented across the paddock ecosystem even before the brand debuts its official entry in the main superbike class.
Under the upcoming technical framework, the female riders will pilot the 675SR-R model, featuring a three-cylinder engine outputting roughly 90 horsepower. This transition provides competitors with a machine boasting significantly more aggressive racing chassis geometry and a notable increase in raw power compared to the previous equipment.
This technical evolution is anticipated to deliver even tighter wheel-to-wheel battles on the track. Armed with punchier machinery and enhanced chassis capabilities, the championship participants are guaranteed an exhilarating racing experience in the upcoming years.
