Ahead of a crucial racing weekend, the VR46 Racing Team officially unveiled a special livery in Jakarta on Tuesday that will be featured during the upcoming Indonesian Grand Prix at Mandalika. The squad from Tavullia showcased a completely redesigned Ducati Desmosedici GP featuring the Garuda—the national symbol of Indonesia—as its absolute centrepiece.

For the team backed by Pertamina Enduro, the Indonesian Grand Prix stands as one of the most vital rounds of the season. Thanks to the partnership with Pertamina, Indonesia has evolved into a second home for the Italian outfit over recent years. For the third consecutive year, this unique bond during the title sponsor's home race is being celebrated with a special livery.

This time around, the mythological bird takes center stage. Originating from Hindu and Buddhist traditions before becoming an integral part of Indonesian culture as the Garuda Pancasila, the symbol represents strength, courage, and fighting spirit—values closely shared by the VR46 Racing Team.

On the special Ducati machine, the Garuda spreads its wings across both sides of the motorcycle, while the head of the bird is positioned on the fuel tank. The Indonesian national colors of red and white dominate the aesthetic, with white forming the base while the red Garuda is combined with gold-colored flame accents.

The trademark fluorescent yellow of the VR46 Racing Team is carefully preserved and can be found on the front section of the Ducati. As per usual, this striking special livery was crafted by renowned designer Aldo Drudi and Drudi Performance.

The Indonesian touch extends beyond the machinery itself. The team apparel has also been redesigned for the Grand Prix weekend, developed in collaboration with Kappa to feature the Garuda motif and matching color combination, alongside a special collection cap.

These distinctive machines will hit the track for the very first time when the opening practice sessions for the Indonesian Grand Prix commence at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
