However, since 2019, the German name has disappeared from the race list. Domenicali, in his statement, emphasized the importance of the German market for F1. "We must not forget that Audi is stepping into the business. We have big partners based in Germany. Germany now wants us to think in the medium term whether they can come back to the calendar," he said. He added that Germany could become a very interesting market, both from a media and promoter perspective, as it was 20 years ago.
