Renault has reaffirmed its commitment to the emergency vehicle sector by participating in the inaugural edition of the Salone Mondial Secours et Protection. Held in Haute-Savoie, France, from September 30 to October 3, the event serves as a stage for the Losanga brand to showcase innovations aimed at rescue operators and firefighters.
The initiative, supported by the French National Firefighters Federation, brings together an international audience focused on fire services, rescue operations, civil security, and risk prevention. The event also hosts the 132nd National Congress of French Firefighters, an international professional exhibition for rescue and security operators, and public areas with presentations and demonstrations.
The congress and related exhibition take place in La Roche-sur-Foron and Annecy. In this context, professionals can visit the RenaultPro+ stand number 1605 at Rochexpo. There, Renault displays its latest range and conversion solutions developed with authorized bodybuilders. Models on show include the new Trafic E-Tech Electric, a Master ambulance modified by TIB for Disneyland Paris, the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric of SDIS 13, a demo vehicle illustrating passive safety devices on the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric and new Twingo E-Tech Electric, and a Renault 4 prototype for firefighters prepared by Qstomize.
Beyond static displays, Renault also offers content and activities related to technological solutions and collaboration with rescue services. One highlight is the presence of Vision 4Rescue in a dedicated Software Republique area in the main conference hall. This technological demo vehicle, developed by Renault Group and Software Republique partners based on the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric, is presented as a platform with connected solutions for rescue operations, including real-time communication and data sharing tools.
Additionally, as part of public activities at the road safety village in Annecy, Renault provides three vehicles for demos to SDIS 74. This move underscores Renault's position as a partner of firefighters for over 15 years, continuously innovating to deliver robust vehicles ready to support humanitarian missions.
Renault's participation in this event is not merely a product showcase but a testament to its long-term commitment to supporting safety and the effectiveness of rescue operations. By introducing electric vehicles and connected solutions, Renault aims to meet modern challenges while strengthening its role as a trusted partner for professionals in the field.
