Robert Virves

Robert Virves is an Estonian professional rally driver who competes in the World Rally Championship (WRC). Born in Tartu on 8 August 2000, Virves developed through junior rally competition and emerged as one of Estonia's notable young drivers on the international stage. He gained widespread attention through his participation in the Junior WRC category and won the Junior WRC title in 2022. The achievement represented an important milestone in his career development and strengthened his position as a potential future driver in the premier class of world rallying. Virves has experience driving several high-performance rally cars and is known for his competitiveness on gravel, one of the defining surfaces on the WRC calendar. After progressing through the junior categories, he continued his career through programmes involving M-Sport Ford and earned opportunities to compete with Rally1 machinery. His experience includes several major events on the WRC calendar as well as domestic and international rally competitions.
