  • Early Career & Moto2 Crown (2014–2020): Making his Moto3 debut in 2014, he consistently fought at the front, finishing as the runner-up in the 2016 season. After moving up to Moto2, his maturity paid off in the 2020 season with the Italtrans Racing team, where he delivered highly consistent performances to clinch the Moto2 World Championship.
  • MotoGP Debut & Gresini Surprise (2021–2022): Stepping up to the premier class in 2021 with the Esponsorama Racing satellite team, he immediately turned heads by scoring two podiums despite riding an older-spec bike. His ultimate breakthrough came in 2022 with Gresini Racing, claiming four spectacular victories and finishing third in the world standings, securing his promotion to the factory team.
  • Tough Test at Factory Ducati (2023–2024): Joining the main Ducati Lenovo factory team in 2023, his first season was severely hampered by a shoulder injury at the season opener, forcing a lengthy absence. Despite this, he proved his quality by scoring a brilliant victory in Malaysia upon his return. In 2024, he was much more consistent, securing victories and returning as a regular podium contender at the front.
  • A New Chapter with KTM (2025–Present): Seeking a new challenge after his factory Ducati seat transitioned, Bastianini made a bold move by joining the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team starting in 2025. Entering the 2026 season, he is utilizing his experience and natural speed to help develop the KTM RC16, strongly aiming to break the dominance of other manufacturers in the premier class.
