Uncertainty continues to surround Ollie Bearman and his Formula 1 future with Haas for the 2027 season as fans await official confirmation. While remaining with the squad for a third consecutive year is widely viewed as a mere formality, no formal announcement has been made yet by the team management.
Because Bearman is contracted directly to Ferrari, his long-term career moves are ultimately determined by the Maranello outfit. However, insiders report zero suggestion that the 21-year-old British talent will be racing anywhere outside of the American constructor's garage next season.
Speaking ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix weekend, Bearman addressed ongoing questions regarding his status. I think it's very clear. I want to continue with Haas. That's definitely my goal. There are a few things in the background that we're working on, but it's been very clear that continuing with Haas will be my target, and we're just finalising a few things on that front.

When pressed on the exact timeline for an official press release, Bearman admitted the delay is outside his direct control. I don't know, to be honest. It's not really in my hands, I can tell you that. If it was up to me, it would have already been announced a long time ago. But there are a few bigger-picture things that we're working on.
The anticipated driver lineup at Haas serves as a crucial stepping stone, potentially acting as a direct shootout for future vacancies at Ferrari. With Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc locking down the primary red cars, next season becomes pivotal for developing talents aiming for the top tier.
