Liam Lawson once again proved his mettle in the Formula 1 world by securing a ninth-place finish during the race weekend in Austin. This positive result marks his third consecutive top-ten finish, further strengthening the Faenza-based squad's standing in the constructors' standings against their closest rivals.
The impressive performance of his challenger was largely driven by the upgrade packages brought by the team to the United States. These technical improvements proved capable of delivering optimal balance on the track, allowing the New Zealand driver to feel completely comfortable from the opening practice session until the checkered flag dropped.
“It has been a truly positive weekend,” expressed Liam Lawson regarding his car's performance. “The team did an excellent job with the upgrades brought to the car; it is fantastic to be able to go home with points. We managed the race very well and personally, I felt comfortable in the cockpit all weekend as the car is in great shape right now.”

Although he acknowledged that the gap to the front-runners remains substantial, leading the midfield pack provides immense motivation heading into the final races of the season. Throughout the Grand Prix, he successfully fended off intense pressure from competitor Pierre Gasly driving for Alpine, ensuring crucial points were safely secured for the team.
Meanwhile, his teammate faced a much more complex challenge starting further down the grid due to a grid penalty. Nevertheless, a determined recovery drive saw them battle through the midfield traffic, putting on a strong display before ultimately crossing the finish line just outside the pointspaying positions.
