Lando Norris Appoints Rene Rosin to Lead LN4 Junior Team
TO NEWS OVERVIEW
Lando Norris’ junior team will race in multiple junior formula

Lando Norris has officially appointed Rene Rosin as Team Principal for his junior team, LN4 Fusion. The McLaren driver announced the decision, calling Rosin the "inevitable choice".

The junior team was first announced in early September, with ambitious plans to compete in Italian F4, FRECA, and Formula 3. The F3 entry was secured by acquiring the assets of AiX Racing. Norris has also submitted a bid to enter Formula 2, though it remains unconfirmed.

Rosin is a well-known figure in the junior paddock. The Italian previously led Prema, the legendary junior outfit that has produced many top talents, before stepping back at the start of this year. His vast experience is seen as a valuable asset for Norris's new venture.

Explaining his choice, Norris said: "A lot of the guys are people I’ve known for a long time, and I’ve known Rene for many years. Since I started to go into single-seaters, I’ve raced against Prema since F4 so back in 2015, and I know him personally reasonably well, and so do my team around me."

He added that the goal was to put together a group that is experienced and knows how to lead a team, not just create one good team in F2 or F3, but to build a long-term project and know how to bring people together.

Rosin himself has an impressive track record. Under his leadership, Prema became a dominant force in various junior series, producing numerous champions and helping drivers step up to F1. Now, a new challenge awaits him as he builds LN4 Fusion from the ground up.

"Over the last seven years, I’ve been able to experience what makes a good leader, a good team, and a lot of it starts with the person at the very top, and he is that person," Norris praised. "He is a guy who loves what he does, which is winning and creating a successful team and bringing people together to maximise things, so he was the inevitable choice at the end of the day."

With Rosin's experience, LN4 Fusion hopes to navigate the challenges of its maiden season across multiple junior formulae. His presence also adds legitimacy and appeal for young drivers looking to join. Meanwhile, Norris remains focused on his F1 career with McLaren, but his involvement in the junior team shows his vision for the future of motorsport.
