The Formula 1 race weekend at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez heated up further as Isack Hadjar received an official summons from the race stewards. The young French driver was ordered to report to the panel consisting of Garry Connelly, Loic Bacquelaine, Derek Warwick, and Omar Chavez Jimenez to explain an off-track incident.

According to the stewards' official summons document, the exact nature of the offense was not explicitly detailed, citing only a case of misconduct related to an incident in the Formula 1 paddock area. The 22-year-old is consequently accused of breaching Article 12.2.1.I of the sporting regulations regarding general competitor conduct.

A video circulating widely across social media platforms appears to show the driver shoving a fan away who was attempting to take a selfie with the Red Bull Racing-backed youngster. However, official confirmation connecting this specific social media clip to the stewards' summons has not yet been formally established by governing authorities.

This development adds further drama to the team's garage following a tense Friday practice session. Earlier, his teammate Max Verstappen was forced to explain a track collision with Liam Lawson, which ultimately resulted in grid position penalties for both drivers during the ongoing Grand Prix weekend.

Unlike grid penalties handed out for on-track driving infractions, Hadjar is unlikely to face a starting grid demotion for this administrative matter. The standard disciplinary penalty for violations under Article 12.2.1.I typically entails a financial fine of 5000 Euros, though stewards retain the discretion to impose heavier sanctions for severe behavioral breaches.
