The EICMA stage once again becomes the focal point of the global two-wheel industry as Honda prepares to showcase its latest lineup of innovations. The Tokyo-based manufacturer previously captured immense attention by unveiling a novel V3 engine platform concept equipped with a mechanical supercharger. As the development timeline progresses, intense speculation surrounds the potential arrival of a production-ready variant for the upcoming motorcycle exhibition in Milan.
Although recent homologation documents have strongly hinted at an imminent market launch, industry insiders suggest that the Japanese brand might reserve the official world premiere of the production model for a dedicated, standalone corporate event. Nevertheless, even without the headline-grabbing V3 streetfighter on the main floor, the manufacturer's exhibition space will boast significant global novelties tailored for the European market.
Among the confirmed highlights is the European market introduction of the CBR500R Four. Equipped with a 502cc four-cylinder powerplant producing 72 homologated horsepower, this versatile daily sportbike aims to revitalize a nearly vacant segment in Europe following its successful Asian market debut last year.

Accompanying the sports tourer is its naked sibling, the CB500 Super Four, which is expected to easily clear European homologation hurdles to join the Milan showcase. Meanwhile, performance enthusiasts will also witness updates to the track-focused CBR600RR, featuring refined electronics, upgraded braking components, and subtly sharpened aerodynamic bodywork.
The biggest headline, however, points toward the successor of a legendary adventure bestseller. Industry indications confirm that the current Africa Twin is nearing the end of its lifecycle, making way for a heavily refreshed next-generation platform utilizing an optimized 1084cc parallel-twin engine delivering heightened output figures.
