Formula 1 paddocks always find unique ways to capture attention long before the first official practice session gets underway. This time, Lewis Hamilton and his Ferrari teammate, Charles Leclerc, turned heads upon arrival at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia by driving matching sports saloons.
The star Scuderia duo was spotted cruising in Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloces. Hamilton opted for a striking Misano Blue finish, while Leclerc rolled in the brand's signature Alfa Rosso red. Their choice of weekend transport once again highlights the drivers' impeccable taste away from the racing circuit.
Underneath the hood, the Veloce packs a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 276 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox paired with a limited-slip differential, offering a lively yet refined driving dynamic.

Inside the cabin, aluminium paddle shifters sit behind the steering wheel alongside a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. It is a fitting setup for two drivers who are well-known enthusiasts of music and high-end audio quality during their downtime.
Driving these Italian machines also echoes the rich historical ties binding Ferrari and Alfa Romeo together. Enzo Ferrari famously raced Alfa Romeos in the 1920s before establishing Scuderia Ferrari in 1929, cementing a legendary legacy in automotive history.
