The news comes amid a challenging first half of the F1 season for Russell, who trails his Mercedes teammate Kimi Antonelli and former rival Lewis Hamilton, now at Ferrari, in the drivers' standings. But off the track, life is treating him well.
The couple shared a series of loved-up images with a simple caption featuring a ring and a white heart emoji. The post quickly drew congratulations from fellow drivers, including Alex Albon, who wrote, "About damn time. So happy for you both." Oscar Piastri, Pierre Gasly, and Carlos Sainz also sent their best wishes, as did both of Russell's F1 teams, Williams and Mercedes.
Russell and Montero Mundt first met in 2020 through mutual friends and have grown closer ever since.
