Formula E, Sportrik Media – Edoardo Mortara secured pole position for the 2026 Formula E Jeddah E-Prix at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, delivering Mahindra Racing its first pole since Berlin Season 10.
The Swiss driver demonstrated consistent pace throughout qualifying and defeated Maximilian Günther of DS Penske in the final duel. The result marks a significant step forward for Mahindra under the current regulatory era.
Reigning world champion Pascal Wehrlein placed third for Porsche, lining up alongside Norman Nato of Nissan Formula E Team on the second row. Several title contenders, including Oliver Rowland, Jake Dennis, and Nick Cassidy, were eliminated during the group stage.
Despite qualifying 17th, Lucas di Grassi of Lola Yamaha ABT will start from the back of the grid following a three-place penalty.
