Formula E 2025/2026: Wehrlein Champion, Porsche and Jaguar Split Titles

The 12th season of Formula E came to a dramatic close in London, with Pascal Wehrlein crowned world champion for the second time. The German driver held his nerve through a tense final weekend to secure the title, finishing just five points ahead of Jake Dennis of Andretti Global, with Mitch Evans a further four points back in third.

Wehrlein, driving for Porsche, delivered a masterclass in consistency. Porsche had already wrapped up the Constructors' Championship before the London finale, finishing a massive 98 points clear of Jaguar. However, the dream of a "Triplete" eluded them as Jaguar clinched the Teams' title with a 17-point margin over Porsche.

The season was a showcase of Formula E's competitiveness. Oliver Rowland (Nissan) and Edoardo Mortara (Mahindra) battled fiercely for fourth, separated by just one point. Antonio Felix da Costa of Jaguar TCS impressed in sixth, while Nyck De Vries (Mahindra) and Nick Cassidy (Citroen Racing) rounded out the top eight.
