MotoGP, Sportrik Media - Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli of Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team unveiled a special livery for the 2026 United States MotoGP at the Circuit of the Americas, launching it in New York.
The presentation took place at the Edge Skydeck in Hudson Yards, one of the tallest observation decks in New York City, highlighting VR46’s global branding strategy. The Pop Art-inspired design, created by renowned designer Aldo Drudi, features iconic American symbols, including the national flag and references to Austin’s skyline as a tribute to COTA.
This initiative follows the team’s recent themed presentation in Brazil, reinforcing a consistent approach to visual identity across key international markets. In addition to the bike livery, matching racing suits and team apparel have been developed to align with the special design for the race weekend.

Di Giannantonio heads into the third round of the season fourth in the championship standings, currently the leading Ducati rider with machinery supplied by Ducati. His early-season consistency, including a pole position and podium in Brazil, has positioned him as a strong contender in the title fight.
Meanwhile, Morbidelli, riding a satellite-spec machine, sits tenth in the standings with a best result of eighth place so far this season. Despite this, he carries momentum from Brazil and views COTA as an opportunity to build on recent progress, particularly on a circuit that demands a balance between acceleration and braking stability.

Ahead of the race weekend, both riders also participated in promotional activities in the United States, including attending an NBA game between the New York Knicks and New Orleans Pelicans, further strengthening MotoGP’s presence in the American market.
With competitive form, strong branding execution, and momentum from Brazil, VR46 enters the United States MotoGP 2026 with high expectations. The Austin round will serve as a key indicator of whether the team can sustain its early-season consistency amid an increasingly competitive championship battle.
