The Formula 1 weekend delivered a dramatic affair, with weather and formation lap chaos causing headlines early on. Amidst treacherous mixed conditions, Max Verstappen came out on top to secure a comfortable victory for Red Bull. The four-time world champion crossed the line ahead of his main rivals after controlling the race from pole position.

The Dutch driver was imperious from Saturday onward, topping qualifying with a 1:35.130 to beat Lewis Hamilton to pole. In the race, he used his clear track position to build a buffer through the drying intermediate phase, managing his tyres superbly over Kimi Antonelli. Even with a late Safety Car bunching the field, Verstappen controlled the restart without drama, earning a near-faultless 9.5 rating for his efforts.

Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton secured a strong 9 rating following a mature and patient drive for Ferrari. Although the race proved tricky with mixed conditions seeing him temporarily drop back, Hamilton preserved his tyres and mounted a strong late surge to claim third place. His teammate Charles Leclerc also worked his way into contention from fifth on the grid to finish fourth, capping off a double points haul for the Scuderia.

Another standout performance came from Fernando Alonso driving for Aston Martin. Starting down in 12th place, the Spanish veteran methodically picked his way through the treacherous order without incident to finish eighth, proving that experience remains crucial in changeable conditions. At the front, Kimi Antonelli converted his fourth-place grid slot into a brilliant runner-up finish for Mercedes, further extending his title lead.

On the flip side, Lando Norris endured a chastening afternoon with McLaren after an early gamble on slick medium tyres on a still-wet track left him exposed. Compounded by later incidents and a reprimand from the FIA for erratic driving behind the Safety Car, Norris could only salvage two points in ninth place to cap a messy weekend.
