Cadillac F1 Team will replace its regular black-and-white design with a red, white and blue livery for the 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit. The special design marks the 250th anniversary of American independence.

The Silverstone weekend runs from July 2-5, with the Sprint taking place on July 4 before the main grand prix on Sunday. The timing gives Cadillac, the only American constructor on the Formula 1 grid, an opportunity to display its national identity on one of the season’s largest stages.

The one-off livery incorporates the stars and stripes of the United States flag. It represents a significant visual departure from Cadillac’s normal asymmetrical design, which features black on one side of the car and white on the other.

Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will race the special design throughout the weekend. For the rookie constructor, the visual change arrives while the team continues to search for momentum during a challenging debut campaign.

Cadillac heads to the British Grand Prix following a difficult previous round at the Austrian Grand Prix. Both cars retired from the race, making Silverstone an important opportunity to improve reliability and convert the attention generated by the special livery into a more competitive result.

The new colours do not alter the team’s principal technical challenge. Cadillac must still improve its weekend execution, avoid the problems that caused the double retirement and use the Sprint format to gather additional data while creating more opportunities to secure a result.

The red, white and blue livery will provide Cadillac with a distinctive identity during one of its most important commercial weekends. Once the Silverstone celebration is complete, the American constructor’s attention will return to developing the car and delivering measurable progress during the next phase of the 2026 season.
