The 2026 Formula 1 grid is set for an absolute thriller as Max Verstappen claimed a stunning pole position. The milestone marks the first non Mercedes-powered pole of the season, handing Red Bull a massive boost heading into lights out.
Sharing the front row alongside the Dutchman will be Lewis Hamilton, who delivered a stellar qualifying performance to secure second place for Ferrari, setting up an immediate tactical showdown between the championship heavyweights.
Current title leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli lines up right behind them in third spot, sharing the second row with Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc as the Scuderia locks down a very competitive starting position.

Further down the order, the grid has been heavily shuffled by engine component penalties. Isack Hadjar drops to eighth following a power unit change, while Franco Colapinto and rookie Arvid Lindblad face a tough fight from the very back of the pack.
