The junior single-seater market is heating up as 18-year-old Australian prospect Beeton is widely tipped to secure a high-profile switch to Andretti Global. According to reports from Speedcafe, the teenager has emerged as one of the most sought-after names in the silly season following an eye-catching rookie campaign in the developmental series.
Having contested the previous season with HMD Motorsports, Beeton endured a challenging first half of the year before making a stunning breakthrough. He announced his true potential by claiming podium finishes in both races at Mid-Ohio, before adding another impressive podium at the Milwaukee Mile during only his third career oval start.
That late-season surge inevitably caught the eye of several leading operations on the grid. Among them, Andretti Global has now surfaced as the expected destination for the rising star as he looks to build further momentum in his burgeoning professional racing career.

Should the move materialize, it would place Beeton within the exact same racing structure as fellow countryman Will Power. The 2018 Indianapolis 500 winner and double IndyCar Series champion is reportedly lined up to act as a valuable personal mentor for the young talent hailing from the Gold Coast.
Approached for comment regarding the swirling paddock rumors, Beeton’s management camp—which includes veteran media manager Gerald McDornan, formerly of Holden Motorsport and Oscar Piastri—declined to comment on the speculation or confirm any departure from HMD Motorsports.
Even so, an official resolution could arrive imminently. With a crucial two-day official test for the Indy NXT series scheduled at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on October 17, confirmation of the deal is widely anticipated to drop sometime this week.
