MotoGP, Sportrik Media - The 2026 MotoGP championship battle intensified following the Dutch Grand Prix at TT Circuit Assen. Ai Ogura's maiden premier-class victory, Jorge Martin's podium finish and several key retirements are set to reshape the title fight heading into the next round.
Ai Ogura secured his first MotoGP Grand Prix victory by leading SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team to a one-two finish with Raul Fernandez. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin added valuable championship points by finishing third for Aprilia Racing.
Several championship contenders endured disappointing races. Marco Bezzecchi crashed out while leading, while Francesco Bagnaia, Pedro Acosta, Franco Morbidelli and Toprak Razgatlioglu all failed to finish, losing valuable points in the title race.

Fabio Di Giannantonio strengthened his championship challenge with fourth place, while Alex Marquez, Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez also added points despite missing out on the podium.
Following the Assen round, the 2026 MotoGP standings are expected to become even closer. The updated championship order and official points gap will be confirmed once MotoGP publishes the revised standings.
