David Alonso will start the 2026 Dutch Moto2 Grand Prix from pole position after topping qualifying at Assen with a best lap of 1:35.236.
The CFMOTO Azul Marino Aspar Team rider leads the front row ahead of Alberto Ferrandez and Izan Guevara, with the top three split by less than two tenths of a second.
Daniel Munoz will start fourth after progressing from Q1 and remaining competitive in Q2. He is joined on the second row by Daniel Holgado and Celestino Vietti.

The qualifying session produced tight margins across the leading group, with the top eight riders covered by less than three tenths. That spread leaves the race finely balanced, especially through the opening laps at Assen.
Q1 also shaped the final grid after Munoz, Ferrandez and Zonta van den Goorbergh moved through to the second qualifying phase. Jorge Navarro was not classified after failing to set a lap time.
Alonso will therefore lead the Moto2 field away from pole position, with Ferrandez and Guevara starting alongside him as the front row prepares for a close battle in the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix.
