The junior single-seater landscape has a fresh narrative as Dion Gowda prepares to step up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship next season. The 18-year-old Indian racer is set to join the newly established LN4 Fusion squad, founded by Formula 1 star Lando Norris. This milestone moves the young talent directly into the Formula 1 support paddock following four intensive years climbing through Formula 4 and Formula Regional categories.
Gowda's open-wheel journey features two seasons in Formula 4 followed by two campaigns in Formula Regional. As a single-seater rookie, he secured a race-winning fourth place in British F4 while driving for Carlin. He subsequently joined Prema for a multi-series programme, taking 11th in UAE F4 and matching that position in the Italian F4 standings after claiming a pair of podium finishes.
Over the past two years, Gowda has been a core part of Van Amersfoort Racing's Formula Regional European Championship lineup, finishing 12th and 20th across his two campaigns. His rookie season highlights featured two fifth-place finishes, while a fourth place stood as his highest result in his most recent campaign. Additionally, Gowda gained valuable cockpit experience by contesting two rounds of the GB3 Championship.
"I'm really excited to be joining LN4 Fusion for the FIA F3 Championship next year," Gowda shared. "Racing in FIA F3 is a dream come true and I'm really grateful for the opportunity. There are amazing people in this team, and I can't wait to get started!"
Looking ahead to the upcoming grid, Gowda will share the team's testing and race weekend workload alongside his newly confirmed teammates Gabriel Gomez and James Egozi, forming an ambitious driver lineup for the expanding squad.
LN4 Fusion Chief Executive Officer Dan Richards expressed strong confidence in the team's latest acquisition, highlighting Gowda's consistent pace in regional racing categories as a foundation for future success.

"He showed promising speed in Formula Regional this season, regularly running in the top 10. We believe there is plenty of room for him to keep growing as a competitor, and on top of that he is a great person to work with.
