BYD is making its presence felt at the 2026 Turin Motor Show (Salone Auto Torino), held from September 11-13. The Chinese tech company isn't just displaying cars; it's bringing an interactive experience to the city center, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with its electric and hybrid lineup.
At the heart of the event, BYD will set up a stand in Piazzetta Reale. There, three representative models from its current range will be on display: the DOLPHIN G DM-i, DOLPHIN SURF, and SEALION 7. Each model showcases BYD's commitment to diverse mobility solutions, from efficient city cars to versatile SUVs.
But the experience doesn't end at the stand. BYD has organized a dedicated test drive program, allowing visitors to get behind the wheel and feel the cars' performance firsthand. Starting from the Giardini Reali, participants can take the vehicles for a spin through Turin's streets, a smart move to build trust and let potential buyers experience the quality before committing.
Beyond the show, BYD's presence in Turin sets the stage for further expansion. On September 16, a new DENZA showroom will open at the ForzA dealership of the Intergea Group in Venaria Reale. This marks the first DENZA dealer in northwest Italy, as the premium brand under BYD focuses on new energy vehicles.
This participation also coincides with the launch of "Decreto BYD," a campaign offering up to 11,600 euros in benefits for customers who trade in their old cars for a Super Hybrid DM-i model. This incentive adds extra appeal, especially in Europe's competitive automotive market.
