A wet track surface during the morning session would likely force him to maintain a more cautious pace without taking unnecessary risks. Immediately following the conclusion of the session, he will undergo a mandatory medical re-examination at the medical center to ensure his physical parameters remain stable for the rest of the weekend.
Preventing another crash remains Aprilia's absolute priority, surpassing even the urgency of defending championship points against Marc Marquez, as another fall could effectively derail their entire campaign. Bonora acknowledged that the injury turned out less severe than initially feared due to exceptional medical management by his support staff in Kuala Lumpur, though verifying how the arm handles sustained riding remains the definitive test.
