Newly crowned WorldSSP champion Albert Arenas immediately established his dominance during the Tissot Superpole session for the 2026 season finale at the Circuito de Jerez. Riding for the AS BLU CRU Racing Team, the Spanish rider delivered a stunning lap time of 1 minute 41.084 seconds under the warm Andalusian afternoon sun.
Beyond securing the premier grid spot for the weekend's races, the impressive performance also shattered the existing WorldSSP lap record at the southern Spanish venue. Arenas demonstrated superior grip and cornering speed, finishing over three-tenths of advantage clear of his closest challengers.
Second place was claimed by Jorge Navarro despite suffering a crash at turn 6 during the session. The PTR Triumph Factory Racing rider finished 0.351 seconds adrift of the pacesetter, showcasing remarkable resilience after recovering from the mid-session off-track excursion.

Completing the front row was Can Oncu representing Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing. The Turkish rider posted a competitive time 0.378 seconds shy of the benchmark, despite experiencing a minor moment of instability at turn 1 in the dying moments of the qualifying battle.
Further down the timesheets, Dominique Aegerter secured fourth position ahead of his Kawasaki WorldSSP Team teammate Jeremy Alcoba in fifth. The competitive grid also saw Mattia Casadei finish sixth despite stopping his Ducati due to a technical issue during the closely contested shootout.
