MotoGP, Sportrik Media - Round four of the 2026 MotoGP season takes place at the Circuito de Jerez from 24–26 April, with Marco Bezzecchi and Aprilia Racing arriving with a perfect winning record so far this year.
Aprilia has emerged as the benchmark in early 2026, winning every grand prix held to date. Bezzecchi has extended that dominance to five consecutive victories dating back to the end of last season, underlining both rider form and technical consistency. This performance places significant pressure on Ducati Lenovo Team, which has yet to match Aprilia’s race-winning consistency despite entering the season as reigning champion.
Ducati has used the unexpected break following the United States Grand Prix—caused by the postponement of Qatar—to reassess its technical package. General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna has expressed confidence that Marc Marquez will return to Jerez at full fitness after managing a shoulder issue in the opening rounds. His physical condition and adaptation to Ducati’s setup remain central to the team’s recovery trajectory.

Meanwhile, Red Bull KTM Tech3 faces operational limitations this weekend. Maverick Vinales is ruled out following shoulder surgery, and intended replacement Pol Espargaro is also unavailable due to injury. As a result, the team will field only one bike, impacting its ability to score across both rider and constructor standings.
The Spanish Grand Prix marks the first of four events in Spain this season, ahead of visits to Barcelona, Aragon, and Valencia. In addition to the sprint format, a post-race test on Monday will provide teams with critical development track time as the championship enters its European phase.
