Max Verstappen will start from pole position at the 2026 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. The Dutch driver secured the top spot under the floodlights after overcoming a fierce challenge from Ferrari during a tightly contested qualifying session.
Verstappen's pole position came after he edged out Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque driver will line up alongside the Red Bull on the front row, having missed out on his first pole position of the season by a mere 0.054 seconds.
Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton will line up from third place on the grid. Championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli starts from fourth as he aims to further extend his 89-point championship advantage over his Mercedes teammate.

A contrasting situation faces George Russell, who is forced to start from the back of the grid due to an overhanging engine penalty. Additionally, Isack Hadjar endured a difficult qualifying session after failing to set a lap time and is widely expected to join the grid penalty list ahead of the main race.
The top ten grid features reigning world champion Lando Norris in fifth ahead of McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri in sixth, with both looking to avoid a repeat of their previous sprint race clashes. Rounding out the top ten positions are Pierre Gasly, Liam Lawson, Arvid Lindblad, and Nico Hulkenberg.
