TUTTO BENE Hillclimb 2026: 85 Luxury Cars at Mottarone

Mottarone, Italy — The third edition of TUTTO BENE Hillclimb took place on Wednesday, September 9, on the curves of Strada Borromea, one of the most spectacular routes around Lake Maggiore. Eighty-five selected cars — classics, restomods, and modern supercars — tackled the nine-kilometer private road from the foothills to the summit. No stopwatches, no speed race: just driving in its purest form, under the motto slow down to go fast.

This formula cements TUTTO BENE as a third way between static concours d'elegance and performance-driven motorsport. By moving special cars without exploiting their dynamic limits, the event brought back the essence of driving: engine sound, mechanical response, bodywork lines, and the technical solutions each model embodies. Around 2,000 spectators enjoyed a spectacle rarely seen in official racing.

What made this edition special was the presence of several automotive icons. The Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, often called the world's most valuable car, stunned the crowd. The Bentley Speed 8, the prototype that took the British marque back to victory at the 2003 24 Hours of Le Mans, also appeared. From contemporary motorsport came the BMW M3 Touring 24H — winner of the SPX class and fifth overall at the last Nurburgring 24 Hours. On the design front, the Bertone Runabout (1969 prototype that led to the Fiat X1/9) and Genesis X Skorpio Concept caught the eye. The Pagani Utopia and Ferrari Luce drew significant attention, especially as the Luce made its dynamic debut in front of the public. The Maserati Eldorado, the monoposto that first brought a commercial livery to a European track in 1958, was displayed alongside the GT2 Stradale with the new Eldorado livery.

The event attracted an international community of collectors, enthusiasts, influencers, industry figures, and automakers. Crews came from Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and across Europe — a clear sign that TUTTO BENE's appeal has outgrown national borders. Along the route, about 2,000 spectators watched the cars pass, making Mottarone an unforgettable stage.

Main sponsors for the 2026 edition included Bentley, Genesis, BMW M, and Alpina. The event is recognized by ACI (Automobile Club d'Italia) as a "Dimostrazione Atipica Sperimentale", highlighting how it defies traditional racing categories. Conceived by Borromeo deSilva and creative and media agency Race Service, TUTTO BENE Hillclimb continues to be a magnet for those who love beauty and speed in harmony.

With the success of its third edition, TUTTO BENE Hillclimb solidifies its place as an automotive festival that not only showcases rare cars but also celebrates a relaxed yet prestigious driving culture. The enthusiasm of participants and spectators proves this format holds a special place in the hearts of motorsport and automotive fans worldwide.
