Formula 1, Sportrik Media - Broadcaster Sky Sports F1 has revealed the new theme music that will introduce its coverage of the Formula 1 2026 season, drawing inspiration from the upcoming F1 film starring Brad Pitt.

The new title track used in the opening sequence of Sky Sports’ Formula 1 broadcasts will be “Just Keep Watching” by Grammy-nominated artist Tate McRae. The song will replace the previous opening theme “Just Drive” by Alastair Griffin, which had been used for several seasons.

Before that, between 2019 and 2021, the broadcast intro featured “Outlands” by electronic duo Daft Punk, which became closely associated with Sky’s Formula 1 presentation during that period.

Former Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button is set to appear more frequently this year. The 2009 champion, who retired from professional racing at the end of 2025 and currently serves as an ambassador for Aston Martin, will cover an increased number of races as part of the broadcast team.

Button will continue to rotate in the pundit role alongside 1997 world champion Jacques Villeneuve and 2016 world champion Nico Rosberg.

The analysis team will also feature several well-known motorsport figures, including 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship winner Anthony Davidson, former Formula 1 driver Karun Chandhok, and W Series champion Jamie Chadwick.

They will join a wider panel of experts and analysts including Martin Brundle, Naomi Schiff and strategy analyst Bernie Collins.

Sky Sports’ presentation team remains unchanged, with Simon Lazenby leading the coverage alongside Natalie Pinkham, Ted Kravitz, Rachel Brookes and Craig Slater as reporters.

Meanwhile, race commentary will once again be led by David Croft alongside Harry Benjamin.
