Sami Pajari arrives at Rally Paraguay refreshed after a three-week break, but the Toyota driver is wary of potential chaos if rain hits the stages this weekend.

Following back-to-back wins in Estonia and Finland, Pajari admitted he needed time to truly switch off. “The first week I was doing nothing. This season feels busier than ever, and sometimes you just need a break,” he said.

Pajari now sits second in the WRC standings, 30 points behind teammate Elfyn Evans. Despite being tipped as a favourite, he remains calm. “I just need to keep doing what I've been doing,” he stated.

On Paraguay's challenges, Pajari described the route as potentially “a second Kenya” if rain arrives. “There are lots of jumps and compressions, and punctures are likely. But if it rains on Saturday, Sunday could be a total mess,” he said.

With unpredictable conditions ahead, Pajari insists he is ready for anything. “We'll stay focused and try to keep our winning momentum,” he concluded.
