The MotoGP paddock is buzzing with news of a major sponsorship transition involving rising star Pedro Acosta. After a long-standing partnership with Red Bull dating back to his Rookies Cup days in 2019, the talented rider is set to switch to Monster Energy as he prepares for his upcoming move to Ducati.
This move mirrors the path taken by his future teammate, Marc Marquez. While Marquez opted for Estrella Galicia as a personal sponsor to navigate energy drink conflicts, Acosta appears poised to join the Monster Energy stable starting in 2027. Strong indicators have emerged from official social media channels, signaling a new chapter for the Spaniard.
Acosta's career trajectory has been nothing short of phenomenal. After clinching the Moto3 title in his 2021 rookie season and securing the Moto2 crown in 2023, he made a seamless transition to the premier class. His breakthrough came this season with his first Grand Prix victory at KTM's home round at the Red Bull Ring, followed by impressive Sprint wins in Buriram and Sepang.

Acosta's initial Ducati contract covers the first two years of the new 850cc and Pirelli era. As Monster Energy prepares to welcome Acosta, they are set to lose Fabio Quartararo, who is expected to move to Red Bull following his new deal with Honda. This shifting landscape of sponsorship highlights the constant evolution behind the scenes in the MotoGP paddock.
