The Sepang International Circuit once again witnessed high-voltage drama involving the Noale factory squad, as an intense internal clash between its riders sparked a sharp reaction from rival competitors. The Malaysian Grand Prix weekend effectively shattered the marque's championship hopes, compounded by Jorge Martin being forced to watch from the sidelines due to injury and a subdued finish for Marco Bezzecchi.
Tensions reached a boiling point when an aggressive late-race duel erupted between Bezzecchi and the fast-rising Japanese rider Ai Ogura. The fierce battle saw the pair make dangerous contact on track, nearly triggering a disastrous double-crash that left onlookers holding their breath and highlighted a distinct lack of cohesive team strategy within the camp.
This intra-factory scrap did not escape the notice of the wider paddock, catching the attention of Red Bull KTM star Pedro Acosta. While reviewing the replay of the chaotic skirmish in the backstage holding room prior to the podium ceremony, the young Spanish sensation could not resist dropping a sharp, sarcastic remark directed at the Noale contingent.
Turning directly toward Marc Marquez, who stood right beside him, Acosta quipped with a grin, "Hey Marc, wasn't the championship fight supposed to be against you?" His biting sarcasm perfectly encapsulated a disastrous afternoon for the Italian factory as their season ambitions slowly slipped through their fingers.
Rather than mounting a unified front to challenge the dominant eight-time world champion at the front of the pack, the internal infighting served only to provide amusement for their rivals, emphasizing a difficult weekend where everything seemed to unravel under the fierce Malaysian heat.
